Gobo's Wanted
Mon, 28 June 2004, 01:46 pmI am lighting Dracula at Harbour theatre in Fremantle. I need some Gobo's for effect such as a cross, castle, half moon and church window.
Could anyone loan me these Gobo's? - I need them from mid July to mid August. The spots are older style Selecon's. I would be happy to pay a deposit on the Gobo's if required.
Thanks
David

G’d idea ‘NA’!
However I prefer to use the printers offset plates, as they cost nothing & most printers are glad to get rid of them & they are already flat & clean. Thus ready to cut, to the required lamp size, with scissors. Use carbon paper, under the paper with your design on, this will help by marking around the design on the paper with a pen or stylus & this will transfer the image accurately it to the plate. Remove the carbon & paper image, cut out the carbon design image, with a craft or scalpel knife - You have a gobo! The cut image will remain sharper for a longer period, than that of the coke can!
