I need a wheelchair
Thu, 5 July 2001, 10:38 pmPreferably one of those motorised jobs so I don't have to get out of my seat all day. Oh yeah, and a drinks holder and racing stripes (makes it go faster) and CD stacker...
But that's just me. For our upcoming production of Amadeus we need an old-fashioned article. The older the better. We're talking 1820s here. We had a lead on one, but it fell through. If anyone has one, or knows of one, we'd be most appreciative. Please email me or give me a ring on 9206-0034.

This maybe the one that fell thru', but WAAPA has/had the genuine article. No less than the wheelchair used in the original stage production of Amadeus in the UK. They don't usually loan or hire out equipment, but they did make an exception once before in this case because it is such a unique item and otherwise nigh on impossible to obtain.
Incidentally, apologies for not getting back to you sooner on how to add a photo to your listings! As you'd be aware, i've been a particularly busy vegemite of late.
Adding images involves putting the image up on the web somewhere and pointing to it with a bit of HTML code in your information section like the following:
>img src="http://www.address.to.image/image.jpg" align=right<
Where www.address.to.image and image.jpg are the place where the image can be found and the image name respectively.
Second choice is to email the image to me as an attachment - but this usually involves a wait of a few days before i get a chance to place the image up. (always assuming that i actually have a working pooter!)
