This is a very nice web site...
It would be great if i lived in WA... But I dont...
Does anyone know if there's a melbourne equivalent?
Or maybe if there's other melbourne users out there we could unite or form a clique or something, i dont know.
And why is there so much actor talk under "tech talk"?
And why are train tickets so expensive all of a sudden?
And... and..

There are a number of sites you could try. Check out the Victorian section on the links page. Music Theatre Guild, Victorian Drama League, Theatre People,TicketMaster and several others.

Unfortunately, i'm not aware of any though that offer quite the range of features or flexibility of this site - yet!

Now you're talking!

We're only weeks away from launching this site fully at a national level. Check the following link to see a preview of what's in store:

http://theatre.asn.au/test/frame.html

Visitors can select their state and only productions, auditions and news relevant to that state will be displayed.

Currently there's a dearth of information available in the database from other states, but over the next few weeks we'll be adding it in from various sources.

Just as with here in WA, this really is a community effort. It will only succeed if there are enough people from Victoria and the other states that care to make it work. The site has been a real boon in WA, there's no reason why it shouldn't work even better in other states!

Isn't that just like the warm props?

;-)

At least you have trains!
