Taking into account in most cases the proeatre Productions are purely renting a space, here today gone tomorrow!
However it may assist a number of Ameatre SM's!
Invariably a lot of the kit is available at the Ameatre venue as a production cost, but not always & it's usually far easier to build up your own over time.
When I was working
Wed, 1 June 2011, 11:13 amWhen I was working in Proeatre, I noticed with incoming productions, most of the SM's were female [at least I believed so?] & invariably were better organised with a lot more gear than the blokes.
With the few male SM's they would rely on what they could carry on their belt or in their pockets, such as a Leatherman, maglite, lighter, smokes ect.
Actually I stopped buying the Leatherman, because they kept disappearing, so I got a cheaper folding knife & I have had that one for years.
One thing I've noticed the female SM's always have a first aid kit, but the few blokes who are SM's just tend to use electrical tape for cuts & gaffer tape for everything else.
