Taxi!
Sun, 5 July 2009, 07:13 pmAnd here we are busy planning our one act season, and the first play calls for a taxi. No problem! Four seats out of a wrecked holden or Ford should do the trick, rear seats mounted higher than the front,,placed centre stage, loose steering wheel, no bells, no horns, but no wait! Our director desires more (don't they all, she would like, if at all possible, a few minor extras, ala, a fixed steering wheel, doors that open and close, headlights, and the whole contraption when finished capapble of being rolled around the stage so that with clever lighting from Hywel Williams, said vehicle looks as though it drives.... okay! I promised her I'd do my best! Completely forgetting to mention that I'm the Frank Spencer of the carpentry / welding / metalwork universe, so I put it to you good technical people to help me out here!By chance, is there anyone willing to help build this thing... say goodbye to borong staircases and the like, say hello to motor cars...now, achieving our directors desires would bring kudos aplenty, alas no money, and certainly gasps of awe from the 12 people who'll see the thing. Alternatively, a few ideas on how we can go some way past the four seats and the loose steering wheel idea would win one many friends.
cheers
