Feedback re cloud effect on stage

The loose wadding was a good idea & obviously the easiest.

When I have used stage cloths, I found it easier to utilise a delivery tube & draw line thru a hoop.

I explained this to Hywell at the Old Mill, but he probably ran out of time & would not of worked that well with the wadding. The only difference in using  the 'Z' positioned turbo fans on the deck in the wings, would have only given constant movement effect to the lumps 'n bumps.

The delivery tube idea is based on a length of plastic sewerage pipe, to house the cloth, with a lead draw line attached at both ends. The draw line goes thru a Hoop, usually mounted on the end of a Border batten. The hoop can be just bent steal rod, Fed thru a garden hose as a protective covering. The draw line in pulled on stage & the cloth follows, from tube to thru the hoop. The cloth is anchor with stage weights or tied down & spread tight. The process takes only a few minutes, similar with striking the cloth. The other draw line is attached & pulled thru the hoop & the tube. Collecting up the cloth & housing safely back in the tube.

 This may be something to remember if you ever want cloud walking to happen.
