Book for techies - maintaining your portfolio
Wed, 25 June 2008, 08:15 pmI just came across this book on Amazon and thought crew and designers out there might be interested in it. It's 'Developing and Maintaining a Design-Tech Portfolio: A Guide for Theatre, Film & TV' by Rafael Jaen.
It sounds interesting, and it's about $25 US, so it's not a bad price. I'm tempted to get a copy myself.
Same here. Over the past
Thu, 26 June 2008, 06:45 pmSame here. Over the past year or so I must have bought about 20-30 different books on puppetry and other theatre topics. I really do have to stop though - it can be so expensive. Especially puppetry books, because most of the good ones are out of print. My most expensive buy was a really rare puppetry text for about $200 - and I almost lost it to some dumb people who decided to break into my PO box!
