Book for techies - maintaining your portfolio
Wed, 25 June 2008, 08:15 pmI just came across this book on Amazon and thought crew and designers out there might be interested in it. It's 'Developing and Maintaining a Design-Tech Portfolio: A Guide for Theatre, Film & TV' by Rafael Jaen.
It sounds interesting, and it's about $25 US, so it's not a bad price. I'm tempted to get a copy myself.
It sounds interesting Na! I

I picked up a book by shear accident, many years ago! It was at an obscure little book shop in a country town. Luckily I paid for it before I left the shop, as there was still 300 or so 'Shop lifting' days left to Christmas!
It was a book on lighting states by Micheal J Gillette. It is well illustrated with plenty of coloured pictures, which is a bonus for me, making it easier to read. I even think I look intelligent, while reading the pictures!
I'm old fashioned & still find it easier to refer to books, than the Net.
