WAAPA 2nd Auditions
Tue, 30 Nov 2004, 08:09 amHi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on WAAPA's audition process.
I just did my callback audition yesterday for the musical theatre certificate course. What is the "norm" for these auditions?
Does the panel usually say just a polite "thank you" afterwards, or do they let you know if you are successful right there and then? I got the "thank you" and nothing further...
Do they contact you by mail or phone and can I assume I was unsuccessful as there was no further instruction regarding a dance audition etc??
Thanks!

Tue, 30 Nov 2004, 10:28 amHi,
As I understand it, I don't think they've ever offered a place to someone right there and then.
Remember, they have to live with you for up to a year, so they want to be absolutely sure that you're right for the course (and presumably the "mix" of the other classmates).
You'll get either a call or a letter in due course - but I'm pretty sure they're not going to leave you hanging forever.
Just try and breath - and relax! :o)
Regards,
Jason
