Wed, 1 Sept 2004, 01:14 pmDoes anyone know how they judge the singing, dancing and acting requirements of the WAAPA musical theatre auditions?

in WA you do your first audition which is your singing and acting in front of 2 people
then in the callback you do your singing and acting in front of 4/5 people
In either of these there may be an interview. but no dancing
In the second callback, you do your singing and acting and then you do scene work etc, development of works. and then you do a jazz class. The class includes floor work basic principles of jazz, and then a routine.
Theres no other dancing audition. Its just what is in your CV.
They really just want to see how your body moves and if your connected with your body, so you can be successful at the end of the course.
