WA Premiere of Maury Yeston's "Nine"

Roleystone Theatre's end of year season for 2010 is Maury Yeston's "Nine" which we believe will be the WA Premiere. So before we start making fools of ourselves and using the "P" word in any advertising... Does anyone else know of it EVER being done in WA before?!

Nine Premiered in Sydney in the very late 80's (1987)produced by Colin Devine. I attended the premiere as I was performing in another Pro production in Sydney at the time It would not have been available for amateur release. There is an Australian Cast recording (Produced by Colin Devine and John Diedrich)which truly leaves other international cast recordings in its wake. I played Guido in the first Australian non-pro production produced by Cantebury Theatre Guild at the Orion Theatre in 1992 (Dir: Colin Peet, Musical Direction, Don Haddon, Choreographer, Cathy Sargent). regards, Chris
