WAAPA CALL BACKS

WAAPA and NIDA are, to put it bluntly, full of shit :) Sure, for most people that graduate from these prestigious courses, they get work and most of them are pretty bad anyway. I should know, I completed one year at NIDA doing the Acting course back in 2001 and another two years at the academy here in Perth - The reason I didn't complete these courses was simple. I had to be totally and utterly different from my classmates. The majority of them were so full of themselves that I just had to get out. And I did. I'm getting more work now than I ever have - at the same time - learning so much more in the business than at either Acting school. I've become quite desensitised with the whole thing - WAAPA is a place for like minded people to blow wind up each others asses. Untill you know that, you might as well be banging your head against a brickwall. It just aint gonna happen :)
