To the discerning viewer,

Tumbleweed Productions wishes to announce the return of the cult black-comedy musical, ‘CHECKOUT!’ after a successful run at Fremantle’s ‘Fly By Night Club’ in August ’05. Aiming to pull tight on those silly strings and tap hard at your funny bones, ‘CHECKOUT! - The musical’ will be open for trade from June 8th ’06, at The Rechabites Hall, Northbridge.

Be launched head first on a path down ‘Ridiculous Lane’ and together we’ll meet the staff of ‘Super Savings Supermarket’, Rockingham. The most bizarre staff you’ll ever meet.

Unaware of their own peculiarities, they voice their left of field opinions with passion and force. Then, add a frantic whirlwind of song and dance, a murdered store manager, a manic investigator, and you will see the craziness that flows from each characters deepest thoughts and fears. The fears most of us try so hard to hide.

Now in its fourth glorious production, and after entertaining countless.... hundreds of people in West and South Australia, there is only one vital and remaining question...

Do you dare check-out CHECKOUT!?!

Thanks Tyler for that. That's precisely what I meant and that's what David said to us too. I know of several people who ignore the agreement. I had to one day contact a media outlet and have them change an article (after I had been sent a draft) to make sure it didn't seem that I was a BA student. I think I'm the only one who seems to go to that kind of trouble though. But the bottom line is, people who studied the cert course are obliged NOT to say that they "studied musical theatre at WAAPA" - because that is misleading. Good luck with the rest of the course - it's a lot of fun.
