I saw this show on Friday night (sorry for the late review). Having seen a number of plays at The Old Mill over recent times, I arrived, expecting a quality show, and this was duly delivered. A great set, excellent sound and lighting effects and hats off to the talented cast for their most accurate portrayals of the characters. Well done to all,a top show. Johnny Grim

Saw this show last night and agree with all the above - what a Fantastic show! Seeing a show like this reminds us why we are all involved in theatre in the first place - to try and achieve something close to this. As an experienced actor I love to try and pick fault - impossible with this show. I hoping to get my partner along to see it next week; if there are any tickets left? The set was wonderful - as mentioned above - really believed you were in this location. Lighting and sound also worked extremely well and a great choice of music. Technically all worked well and helped create a wonderful show. Would imagine that the stage manager has a very easy job with this show - as least can sit back and enjoy. The characters were all cast extremely well, never doubted who they were or what they were trying to achieve. John (Mark) - fantastic portrayal of this weird man not quite there - so natural; hope you’re not like that normally! Sally (Zalia) - great look (in and out of costume!) and really connected with some of the more intense sections of the show. Mark (Peter) - wonderful portrayal from start to finish; hated him, loved him, hated him, pitied him. Must be exhausting maintaining that emotional level all night - hats off. The cast worked well together and I left thinking who else could have done it? Well cast Mr Director. Well done Hal - you have created wonderful theatre (again). I hope you are proud of what you have achieved - we are still talking about this show now. Old Mill should be thanking their lucky stars - will keep an eye out for future shows - what's next? Overall - as close to perfection as I have seen for along time; certainly in Perth. Enjoy the rest of the season - you deserve great rewards. A very jealous but impressed thespian ......... DW
