This would have to be the states first "MUST SEE" event for 2007.

Darlington Theatre Players current production is a credit to community theatre in Perth. The energy with which this production is performed would solve the global warming problem almost on it's own!

Director Peter Clark has taken his personal dream to mount this show and (with the help of several VERY talented cast members, an excellent live band and some of the best lighting seen in Perth for quite some time) not just made it into a reality, but has handed Perth audiences some of the best that theatre goers have ever enjoyed.

If I was in the business of handing out stars for reviews, this would certainly be four and a half out of five.

Terrific show, wonderful cast, DAMN good band, intuitive directing. Great job Guys! Loved it!

Yes, people do often forget that there is no real idea of how well a show will sell. That's why there's no money in this industry, and why few businesses are willing to get involved; there's no guarantee of making your money back. In fact, if you ask any of the fringe professional companies, they will tell you that they only ever lose their money. If they make a profit, it is only worth a couple of hundred bucks.
