Anyone seen Everything Must Go??

Yes, I saw this show on the opening night, and have simply not got around to writing up my thoughts. Directed and created by Anne Adlem it was a very witty, well put together reminiscence of the last 50 years of Playlovers Inc. Every show was mentioned and many musicals had tributes sung. The structure of the show allowed the cast to move easily from one song to another, and a highlight for me was Tyler Jones send up of "A modern major general" and the cast's original presentations of the chorus from this song. The stage was packed with colour and life, featuring many of Terry's brillant costumes and some interesting props. The audience certainly enjoyed the outstanding musical numbers which were performed from some of our brightest and talented young musical performers. I am not sure whether this constitutes a "musical" as such, but certainly was an excellent review type show. Well done to everyone involved and congratulations to Playlovers on hitting the 50 year milestone! Cheers Christine Ellis
