What a fantastic Musical!! I am so proud to be a part of this production!!! The dancers, principals and chorus have all done an awesome job! Congratulations guys! Also many thanks to everyone behind the scenes who have worked so hard to put this show together and have put their heart and soul into this show, it has been so much fun. Special mention to Leslie, John, Daniel (a fantastic choreographer) and Lindsay Gould as musical director, thank you for your support and encouragement and also can't forget the guys in the band who have really brought out the best in us. I also can't forget the talented girls that i have been so lucky to work with, Lisa Taylor as Ariel, Sonja Scott as Rusty and Megan as Urleen. You guys have made this show such a fun and magical experience. Thank you so much. If anyone reading this has missed out and still want to see it, we have an extra show on today Sunday 27th August at 4pm. Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. You can buy tickets at the door. Everybody cut footloose!!! Janine (Wendy Jo)

Good to see that your gaining some experience in the Mandurah Arts Centre productions. However stay grounded if your planning on a future in the industry. It is easy to think appearing on the main stage is reaching success. I personally think ALL amateur productions at Mandurah Arts Centre should commence in the smaller Fishtrap theatre, that way you earn a step up when handling the larger stage & audience. It would become a good stepping stone and would assist any young hopefuls to progress at an 'even rate' - otherwise when they venture up to Perth they would not be heading for a major fall. If you do not think this is a good idea, think or study the workings in places like Las Vegas, or possibly why shows are played off broadway and have to play rep company theatres before reaching the West End? How do I know this...experience...
