I LOVED les mis so much....its the best amateur show I've seen in a long time, and in Pinjarra...friends told me that it might not be so good because its country, but it was so so good. I loved jean val jean played by sean read....i loved the way the time change was portrayed with him going from a criminal locked up in chains to the mayor...to a loving and caring father for cosette. I loved little corsette....she had the most magnificent voice, especially for a child of her age...very impressive.
I was also very impressed with patrick kilcoyne....he has such a strong voice for musical theatre...and I loved the way he draped over the barracks when he was killed in the war...people laughed the night I saw the performance and I was quite put off by that...I thought it was a very sad moment...well portrayed.
Javert was awesomely portrayed (Peter Knol)...I absolutely loved his performance and his voice was so strong, even though he apparently didn't have a microphone.
Over all an awesome play.
