Musical theatre in the city

Hi!

I've just moved to sydney recently and I am desperate to get back into doing musical theatre, but I can't seem to find auditions for any shows in sydney - does anyone know about any amateur musical theatre companies specifically in the city area [not too far out in the suburbs]? if anyone can tell me I would really appreciate it - or even just straight plays in the Newtown area.
