Musical theatre in the city

I've just moved to sydney recently and I am desperate to get back into doing musical theatre, but I can't seem to find auditions for any shows in sydney - does anyone know about any amateur musical theatre companies specifically in the city area [not too far out in the suburbs]? if anyone can tell me I would really appreciate it - or even just straight plays in the Newtown area. Ok Thanks very much - please let me know!

Hi. As no-one has responded, thought I would. Most community groups in Sydney advertise auditions in the Saturday - Sydney Morning Herald.
As I live in Parramatta, I'm not sure of the inner city - there's certainly groups at Ashfield and Strathfield, Hunters Hill, Chatswood, Eastwood, there's lots more further out. Sydney folk travel all over the place - so don't limit yourself - follow your favourite musicals.
I saw Jesus Christ Superstar last night at Wentworthville (within walking distance of the station) - well worth seeing - there are 3 more performances next weekend. Contact Holroyd Musical Society 9681 1759
