Oh What a Night - Perth
Fri, 27 Feb 2004, 05:08 pmA seventies musical, fantastic dancing and energetic performances from the chorus who were brilliant. Sadly the plot was thin, the main leads basically even poorer (with the exception of Kathy Sledge and whoever played Stretch Mulligan who both shone) and the sound at Burswood, especially if you were seated near the front, was appalling.
The auditorium was less than a third full, but the audience were as enthusiastic as they could be, after all we'd all paid to be there. Who or what Jack was supposed to be or why he was there still puzzles me.
I'll be most interested to see anyone else's opinion

Sat, 13 Mar 2004, 03:32 pmNow I think that's a little uncalled-for. There have been many posts that have been much more painful to read than Amanda's have. Posts that people have barely given a second glance.
Walter's comment was enough. This was more like gratuitous character bashing.
