Oh What a Night - Perth
Fri, 27 Feb 2004, 05:08 pmA seventies musical, fantastic dancing and energetic performances from the chorus who were brilliant. Sadly the plot was thin, the main leads basically even poorer (with the exception of Kathy Sledge and whoever played Stretch Mulligan who both shone) and the sound at Burswood, especially if you were seated near the front, was appalling.
The auditorium was less than a third full, but the audience were as enthusiastic as they could be, after all we'd all paid to be there. Who or what Jack was supposed to be or why he was there still puzzles me.
I'll be most interested to see anyone else's opinion

Oh, how we criticise . Until one is in a production of this size and quality. One should just admire.
