Black Swan theater co.
Tue, 23 May 2000, 04:49 amanyone know where the plays that appear at Black Swan get their actors from? casting/modeling agencies? or is it all 2 do with contacts?
Also, where do i find out about auditions 4 non-amateur productions?

hehe and when you complained before of being "too talented 4 this shitty city" i thought you must have been writing about being in Melbourne

i'd guess that modelling agencies are only rarely if ever approached to cast mainhouse productions at a company like Black Swan and then there are relatively few casting agencies in Perth.
What's the story these days? I passed in my Equity membership about 8 years ago and am well out of the loop. Frog, ACE and Actors Management is what i hear. Can anyone expand on this?

Your agent, check the West, check notice boards (Blue Room esp.), read the boards here....
