You Have Been WARNED!
Fri, 9 July 1999, 04:53 pmSince we got so much (undeserved) flak at our last show, here's a pre-emptive warning:"If you are offended by the words, 'bugger', 'bloody', and 'bastard', then DO NOT come and see Blak Yak's latest production, Terry Pratchett's MASKERADE at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on July 14, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30, 31."If the mere thought of a cast of thousands (well, okay, dozens) desecrating Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" in a very funny (and frequently slightly rude) spoof, then STAY AWAY."Additionally, if you are likely to be deeply offended by occasional references to 'goings-on', or the sight of a naked male bottom running across the stage, the this is NOT the show for you."Actually, if you ARE the sort of person who is so insulated and immature that you would be offended at these sort of things, then PLEASE stay at home. We certainly don't want you at our theatre."There. That should do it.JB
