Since we got so much (undeserved) flak at our last show, here's a pre-emptive warning:"If you are offended by the words, 'bugger', 'bloody', and 'bastard', then DO NOT come and see Blak Yak's latest production, Terry Pratchett's MASKERADE at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on July 14, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30, 31."If the mere thought of a cast of thousands (well, okay, dozens) desecrating Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" in a very funny (and frequently slightly rude) spoof, then STAY AWAY."Additionally, if you are likely to be deeply offended by occasional references to 'goings-on', or the sight of a naked male bottom running across the stage, the this is NOT the show for you."Actually, if you ARE the sort of person who is so insulated and immature that you would be offended at these sort of things, then PLEASE stay at home. We certainly don't want you at our theatre."There. That should do it.JB

hehejust remembered....all the fuss you had over someone talking about their sexual preference in 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress...i remember the ITA trying to have a scene from Cloud Nine included in last year's Finley (happy Damian?) Awards Night. The scene included overt and explicit references and simulated acts including homosexuality, lesbianism, paedophilia, necrophilia, incest and child abuse.i wonder how that would have gone down?;)CheersGrant
