Every community show I've ever been involved with encouraged a team effort for bumping in and out. None of the groups I have worked with has had the luxury of working in their own theatre, so bumping in and out has been with a very limited time frame.
As long as it is done sensibly- those tasks requiring more expertise are left to the experts. There are lots of tasks to be done that everyone can pitch in and help with - chairs, props, costumes, clearing dressing rooms and leaving everything in order. A roster of duties is a fair way of sharing the work load.
The party doesn't start until the work is done.

Does the poll question have a real event that it is referring to? Perhaps the poll is too simplistic to cover all scenarios?
