New poll topic: How many auditions have you attended in the past 12 months?

And a question for discussion -
Are auditions the most important part of getting cast?

The 'zero' category is most likely effected by those who read the poll but aren't likely to attend auditions anyway....the poll assumes it's talking to actors, but if you are an audience member, director, technician, etc, you'd vote 'zero'. (Mind you, directors may have voted for how many auditions they attended as the director?)

The general trend is that most of us only go for one or two in a year, and proportionately less of us try for more auditions, apart from the small group at the end who are almost 'professional auditioners'.

Interesting to note that the Auditions section of this website is one of the pages with the most hits, yet not many of us go for more than about 3 auditions a year.

Which brings us to the new poll...how does this correlate to the number of gigs we perform? Do frequent auditions mean more success?
