Mon, 22 Sept 2003, 09:45 amWhat are you looking for Ren? Community Theatre, Professional Theatre, TV, Film? This site is mainly Comm Theatre with occasional news on the other fields. If you're interested in more professional fields, then you should really investigate getting an agent but don't expect them to work for you. You have to keep on their backs and show your eagerness. Partake in classes or activities they provide as much as you can.
If you are interested in Film and TV then have a look at the Perth Actors Collective http://www.screenworkshop.iinet.net.au/ These are great classes and I recommend them highly. They can put you ito direct contact with the industry as well as teach you some valuable skills.
Get an agent and actively get involved. Don't simply look through web sites for possible auditions. The professional industry does not work that way. Auditions a rarely advertised as such.
