Hi all, I'm interested in doing some Screen Acting Workshops and tossing up between 2 in Perth right now.

Does anyone know which of these is best for the money, or has a better reputation?
Or even if there are any better Screen Acting workshops I should take a look at?

These are the 2 I am deciding between:

(1) FTI Acting For The Screen Bootcamp with Fern Nicholson, running over 6 weeks, one night per week from 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
http://www.fti.asn.au/learn/courses/10/186
$270 (non-members)

(2) PAC Screen Workshops with Annie Murtagh-Monks, I THINK it also runs over 6 weeks, one night per week from 7.30pm - 10.00pm.
http://www.screenworkshop.com.au/sws1.asp
$225

I know this website is theatre based but I was hoping someone would be able to help. :)

Thanks, Amy.

I can positively recommend Annie M-M and the PAC workshop, especially for screen acting and to get a good solid grounding in the art of acting. The workshop allows you to experiment in safety and Annie is honest and politic in her assessments, encouraging young actors and (film) directors and giving great advice at all times. Having been in the industry for many years, there was still a lot I learnt from her course. I recommend you enrol for a PAC course and see for yourself AND I recommend you join a good theatre group to learn all the other necessities for working in the theatre, like realising that all contributors to a production deserve consideration and it is not just your performance that makes a good show.
