YEAR 12 TEE!
Mon, 27 Aug 2001, 05:18 pmHi i am a year 12 drrama studies student. I'm not too sure if I have wtitten in the correct area of the website but anyway I was wondering if anyone could help me with any suggestions for a monologue (up to 3 minutes) which would be good for the year 12 practical exam. And also any good ideas for the 5-7 minute solo performance??? Thanks.

Fri, 31 Aug 2001, 12:53 pmDude I did that exam last year. I used a monologue from dreams in an empty city by stephen sewell. It really depends what your forte in acting is. If you're good at comedy make yur monologues funny, if not don't you see what i mean? I went against my forte and screwed up so don't do that. I suggest though that if you're a serious style actor that u draw on past experiences, it helps with character.
