Hi guys and gals!

Just wondering if anyone is, has or knows someone who has majored in "Theatre/ Film/ Dance" at the University of NSW at Kensington?
The subject is part of the Bachelor of Arts degrees, and i'm desperate to know if the course is good or not.

As all of you would know - finding the right way in this industry is hard - there are so many courses and options to choose from. But i have heard that the UNI of NSW is closely associated with NIDA and various other playwrights' organisations.

Please get back to me if you, or anyone else you know has studied this course.

Thanks so much!!!

Hey Carrie,

I also went to UNSW and I majored in Theatre & Film in a BA. I thought the course was fabulous. As with most courses, it has its shortcomings, and there is the constant battle for funding and you do get the odd dud tutor, but on the whole, the staff is inspired and inspiring. There are not too many links between NIDA and UNSW, but there are some, and the school of Theatre, Film and Dance is pretty well networked with the wider arts community. There is also a pretty good theatre society on campus, for cases where you can't get enough theatre in your life. It is called NUTS, and it is important to get involved if you want to. I was president of NUTS a few years ago, and the club can be alot of fun.

If you have any more questions, let me know!

Danne
