I wasn't bad mouthing. My first question (paid or unpaid) was out of respect for fellow people, who may be wondering the same thing. Most of us can't afford a zillion subscriptions, and since your post was ambiguous I wanted it clarified. I'm currently in need of work at the moment, and might have joined the site myself (now I'm not so sure...); but I'm also currently paying for an Arts Hub subscription and didn't want to spend the money on another subscription site, especially as you might have the same jobs listings. My second point was that I was, and always will be, curious about who's doing what in terms of arts publications. I did figure out that it was related to Trevor; and my comments were simply in reference that I recalled him doing the site but had long forgotten about it. I do not use the showjobs site and have no particular feelings about it one way or the other. I am happy that he's successful in the site as I recall our meeting before he started it. I have 'bad mouthed' other sites, where I believe it has been correct (see http://www.theatre.asn.au/billboard_bulletins/actors_and_extras_needed_0 for example) and you can see there is quite a difference in tone to what I posted here and when I lambast someone. How you could read tone into little more than three sentences is beyond me, especially as they are ambiguous themselves taken without natural vocal intonation. If you or Trevor think that from our one meeting I would bad mouth either of you, then you're greatly mistaken... furthermore, since closing TPC I have little interest in the 'competition' as it were. Please pass my comments on to him: I assure you, there was no tone in my questions. Perhaps if either one of you have concerns about what I said, you could PM me instead.
