Looking for professional actors and performers for discussion with me.

My name is Jeff Caster. I am new to Australia and am having a H@#L of a time finding a friendly and interested ear and mind to discuss the film/television and theatre industries. I am represented in Germany but not here. I am interested in answers to questions both simple and complex. (IE.Do professional actors use 8x10 headshots or can I use the less expensive 13cm x 18 cm heads that I use in Germany. Who must one please in order to interest Aussie agents in representing one?
