VCA Drama

I can't speak for the actual audition process, but I do know that experience/maturity is a factor. Generally speaking, VCA does not take applicants who have just left school, due to the fact that most high school students don't have a lot of outside experience (ie. non-school productions) under their belts, or the 'maturity' to undertake a full-time course. (I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with this policy, I'm just stating that you might not have as good a chance as someone who is 23 and has had more theatrical experience/study) You may wish to consider auditioning for other drama courses as well - not only will it help in preparing for VCA's, but you may get into a 'lesser known' course and then go onto VCA later.
