Well u are on the right path to becoming your dream.
Last year i was doing exactly what you were doing, e.g. School plays, Community productions, outside of school training, short films with uni students. It was just lucky i even heard from a friend that they were doing auditions. So keep it up, because what u got to relise is u are an actor... u are!!!

Now about Perth, yeah it's great but i can't compare to any other state since Perth is the only state i've lived in, in Australia. Sunsets on the beach.
Heres the pros and cons, there are less actors but there is less work.
What i heard is streetsmartz is going to be the only work in the industry for a while, but i could be wrong.
We have a lot of theatres so if ur 18 or left school check them out to find jobs. Get a job even if u have to flip burgers, i've been working since 15 and i always have money to get places, not a lot of money but survival money.
