Hi, sorry to suck you into reading this, but i have posted this message before and got no response whatsoever. my name is Luke Heath I have recently been involved in a locally (western australia) written and performed play called "A Fractured Fairytale" and i believe that it has touring possibilities, it worked well with some of the cast as young as 5 years old, and no one aged older than 19. BUT, that doesnt always have to be the case. It was just a good oppertunity for the young kids to get some experience that they wouldnt have otherwise had. So, to cut a long story short, i am looking for companies in other states that would be interested in performing it. I am willing to direct it myself, but if not, i would like to help some how, so i can make sure it stays as close to the original as possible.

I am contactable on 0403328830 or (08) 92504203.

Hi Sasha

If you re-read the advice I gave to Luke, I think you'll find that I'm not hassling him in the least, I'm giving quite a realistic appraisal of his request and what would probably work better.

I don't believe many theatre companies would be much enticed by his information, especially posted under the subject heading he tried.
It's difficult enough to get a script considered, let alone convince a company that you can direct it for them as well. It appears no one responded at all the last time he posted...so rather than him repeat the same post, I suggested a few things that might work better. He needs to provide a lot more support material; a synopsis, reviews, and eventually let them read the entire script. None of this is going to work by posting it on an obscure thread in this forum. Far better to approach a company personally. If they like it, it may go ahead. If they don't, they may give a good indication of what they would prefer or what could be improved.

Now, if this seems like poor advice (Drama_Queen and David Ryding didn't seem to think so) then you are quite within your right to hate me for it. Go ahead and form your club. But you may also find that the more you continue to post abusive and ignorant messages here, the more credibility you give me for disagreeing with you, and any hate on this website will be directed in entirely the other direction.

Please be civil. And piss off.

Craig
