14 years old girl needs an acting job!!!!
Wed, 5 May 2004, 07:13 pmHey everyone. i am a 14 yr old girl from adelaide south aus and i desprately want an acting job...... i have been told i have alot of talent.
*dark brown hair
* hazel eyes
*tall
*i will do what i am told
*very talented
i have recently landed a large role in our schools production. i can play any role i am given and i would absolutely love a career in acting.

Hmmm....as much as I agree with your advice to these generally pointless posts, sometimes there are exceptions to the rule: Someone actually just emailed me and offered me a role..!
The difference is, I didn't waste their time in the first place by just posting my vitalstatistics in a random thread. I was out there actually making myself worthy of emailing.
That's my advice to everybody who has posted similar 'x year old wants job' messages....if we don't immediately recognise your name and talent by reading your post, you're doing yourself a big disservice and wasting everyone's time. Find other means to get out there, get experience, and get known, so when you post your name here everyone's already seen you in something.
Of course, by then you'll realise that the step of posting your details is no longer necessary....
