Your frustration at the lack of paid theatre and film work is understandable, but honestly posting more and more one paragraph statements requesting others contact you is not going to help, rather it will just conyinue to clutter up the board. Acting is a profession where actively hunting out auditions is necessary to gain experience and roles. Simply saying "I need a job -please help" after about 15 other people in the same situation have done so is only going to waste your time and others who boter to check these messages.
Why don't you kids do something proactive and join a drama class, create your own shows or call around personally to some of perths amateur companies who can almost always use an extra hand for sewing on buttons or painting the props. That way you might actually gain some contacts who WILL be able to help you find a role, or at least an audition in the near future.
Just my two cents.
Thou mangled swag-bellied lout!

Hiyas,
I agree with Anna. Intead of sitting around on your bums waiting for something to happen, why dont you go out and MAKE it happen yourself? Look for oppertunities, go to auditions (it doesn't matter if you don't get a role - you've got the experience!), get some classes, or a holiday drama program. You'll only get what you want if you put in the effort. If you want to act kids, you cant keep playing lazy buggers. Get you butt off the sofa and start working. It's not easy when starting off, but stick at it and you'll get there.
That's exectly what I did.
OR.....you could listen and study hard at achool. Then you'll realise that you don't actually want to be an actor, it isn't easy or glorious, and you'll be good at psychics and end up as an engineer or something.
Or you'll end up like me. Studying acting at uni and trying to fit shows in around study timetable.
