AUDITIONS - PERTH

Pocket Theatre is casting its short play, "My Mum is a Feminist Guerilla" to be performed at the Fremantle Railway Hotel mid March.

The play looks at the family of an Australian journalist who is being held captive in Afghanistan.

Characters:
Simone:(12-13) The precocious daughter of the journalist.
Johnny:(12-13) SimoneÂ’s friend next door.
George:(35+) The journalist's husband and father of Simone. He is having trouble coming to terms with his wife's choice of career and her subsequent disappearance.
Gran (60+) George's next-door neighbour and Grandmother of Johnny. She is a strong woman with traditional beliefs.
Tom (30+) Editor of the Journalist's newspaper, he is trying to work with George to help get her out of Afghanistan.

Auditions will be held at Camelot in Mosman Park.
