Where do I start?

I am 16 and I wnat very much to become an actress. I have no experience in drama as I never studied it at school but I do a subject called film and TV. I am in year 12 this year, and I hope to be accepted into a University but I am a bit reluctant due to my lack of experience. Any tips on courses or training or anything like that I can do before I apply to university would be great. Some one suggested TAFE but I am pretty clueless. As already said any tips would be really great!
