Melb scenic art student -will work for free!
Wed, 21 Feb 2001, 02:32 pmHi, I'm Kate Bennett, Ive just started a Scenic Art - Certificate in Entertainment course at Box Hill. Im also keen to work in Set Dressing or Props. From around March onward, I would love the opportunity to do some work experience in any of these roles. The college is very enthusiastic and supportive of this practical aspect of our course. Hi, Iv'e just read your plea for work experience which was obviously posted some time ago now, but I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking to move to Australia from England in January 2002, and I graduated in theatre design 2 years ago. How should I go about looking for scenic work in Oz? Do you know anyone who might be interested in hiring a painter next year? If you can help in any way, I'd be extremely grateful. -Paul McNulty
