Melb scenic art student -will work for free!
Wed, 21 Feb 2001, 02:32 pmHi, I'm Kate Bennett, Ive just started a Scenic Art - Certificate in Entertainment course at Box Hill. Im also keen to work in Set Dressing or Props. From around March onward, I would love the opportunity to do some work experience in any of these roles. The college is very enthusiastic and supportive of this practical aspect of our course. I'm 25 and a mature, responsive worker. If you think you could do with an extra set of willing hands, reply here or email me at chocolatefrog@aol.com

Hi Kate,
I curious to find out specifically what it is that you do as a scenic artiste.
You want an opportunity, I need assistance and direction!
Let me explain.
I'm currently finalising a proposal - it has been accepted but it primarily indicates where I'm going with it.
I'm establishing a lesbian women's club, in a hotel environment, long term aspects, short term management. I do have the finance (somewhat limited) and require the "ambience" to this somewhat drab hotel environment. I cannot afford an interior decorator nor can I afford mass amounts of $cash for an upmarket, hip, decor!!!
Surely with you academic quals, exuberance and talent you maybe able to assist me and surely we can come to some kind of arrangement if you are interested. Your reply would be appreciated, however, if this does not suit you then thats ok!
