seeking info on amateur companies

I'm looking to join an amateur theatre company which meets weekly, produces a variety of genres, focusing on original work written by company members, (but occasionally staging a classic) which is principally run by experienced actor/directors who are able to teach less experienced members how to be better actors (mentor or apprentice/journeyman/master system of teaching) which is *proffessional* in its approach to actors, audience, promotion and which puts the profits back into the company to buy equipment in order to stage better productions.
I would start one myself, but I dont believe I have the experience or the time to do an effective job.
does anyone know if such a company exists already? I have looked through the list attatched to this site, but cant see anything that fits the above description.

Regards,
Ashryn
