We are a group of third year Curtin film students making a short mockumentary, and we are looking for actors!! Our movie is called The Road to the Sandmen. It's a mockumentary set in the future where people are able to upload their dreams to the internet via YouSnooze. The film follows a group of various nominees for The Sandmen Awards, which is given out to the best dream. Currently we are shooting the pilot for the film, and are looking for 3 characters: Bruno: A man in his late 40's-late50's and of Eastern European origin. Bruno has a thick accent so it would be great if you could do this type of accent, places such as Russia and Serbia are preferable. Hortense: A female, mid 30's to late 40's. Hortense is a professional dream critic Child figure: A child under the age of 12, boy or girl. They are a creepy child in Bruno's dream. They will be standing in a field for a long time.
