Is it really too hard?
Sat, 8 Sept 2007, 09:26 pmIs it really too hard for people posting notices about shows, auditions, etc, etc, to put the city in the title? This IS a national webpage. Just thinking a little bit about your readers would suggest that it would be a very good idea to be helpful to the readers by indicating the location in the title. I mentioned this recently, but nobody seems to care. It makes the site less useful to the users.

As for a QLDer to know about an audition in SA - what if they have friends there, and are interested in helping them find auditions? What if they plan on moving there? What if they are simply curious. I know a number of times I check out a post from curiosity, read it, and then discover hidden in the middle that the post is not relevant to me because of location.
Again, we are reliant on the people posting the information to be objective enough to realise that not everyone is familiar with their venue location.
