Hello, if anyone is looking for a sound tech, follow spot operator or lighting engineer i am happy to help, i am a student at a school that puts on a lot of major productions during the year and i have grown tired of just working in one venue i will work for very little cost, i do it because i love it. i am a very capable sound engineer and i am able to work on my own to get a job done if needed. i have also trained various students in certain aspects of technical theatre and if need be i am able to train fellow crew. my resume can be found online here www.alexhughes.bravehost.com/resume.html

You can download the list here: http://www.thepromptcopy.com/pip/theatrelinks.htm Your age may be an issue; bump ins/outs, rehearsals and performances often mean that you have to be at a venue until very late in the evening or even early in the morning. Travel and transport would greatly affect how much work you can do and where you can do it. I would suggest contacting your local community centre and seeing if they have any sort of casual or volunteer work to get you started. If not, then I would suggest that doing some volunteer work with local amateur groups is your best bet until you can get a drivers licence. Don't forget that professional companies and venues also always need volunteer help for FOH and other duties, which is a good way to get your foot in the door.
