Agencies?
Sat, 22 July 2006, 01:39 amHey
Im a 17 year old girl and I'd really like to join a good Agency in Perth.
I know everyone adds posts like these but really any help,advice... anything will be very much appreciated.
I could really use some sort of a mentor.. you know like advicey mentory thingy, not like a karate kid mentor. Although i'd like to try Karate one day.
thanks so much to .. anyone that replies.
sincerly,
ally

Personally
I would consider having an agent as a back-up, not the priority. Get yourself out there and sell sell sell. Get involved in the groups that have a similar interest that you do. Self Promotion and Networking are vital skills in this industry.
My Thoughts.

re: Agencies
Hi Ally & all other teen actors,
My DRAMA & CASTING SCHOOL offers an in-house actor/agent for representation.
Star Edge Institute & Casting utilises the skills of Tanya Mc Henry an actor agent/manager, who has been in the entertainment industry for sixteen years.
While you are required to attend drama classes, you work closely with the agent, weekly. This way the agent knows what level you are at, at all times.
Please call Tanya on 0439 986 608 for more information.
