Theatre Group? (WA)
Wed, 25 Jan 2006, 11:38 amAre there any people aged between 15-25 (give or take) who are intersted in starting up (or being involved in) a theatre group in the Morley/Bayswater/ Bassendean area (In Perth Western Australia) we would have to start small but hopefully move on to greater things.
You dont need to be a great actor just have a passion for drama!

The councils provide funding for youth groups so go and talk to them about your ideas, find a friendly councillor and ask for a hall and money for sound, lighting etc or consider linking in with a school.
You will need an ongoing source of new youth members as they move on to other inerests, so getting a notice in their annual directories will help.
Hope you get a group together.
