I'm doing a research assignment at the moment about how the performing arts in Australia compare to the rest of the world and how well we are know for it and I was wondering if there are any good places to start looking for information. I have gathered basic information but any places you can think of or information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Tue, 20 May 2003, 11:05 pmhave you tried asking at Australia's drama schools (WAAPA, VCA & NIDA)? I would think being the top training facilities, they would have some idea of our standards/innovativeness/capacity as a nation. How about also asking at the offices of your state's art festival (who import many acts as well as locals), or some of the leading professional theatre companies?
