We had a group dress
Tue, 26 Aug 2008, 02:54 pmWe had a group dress rehearsal last night for all three plays and lucky me, got to see The Return for the first time. I've never seen the film version or read the play and I tell ya what, it is a magnificent production. Danni has cast this show with a superb group of actors. Her direction has layered the show with just the right amounts of menace, pathos and humour. They are all wonderful indiviually, and as an ensemble, really quite stunning. HUGE ups in particular to Murray Jackson, who just floored me with his performance. One of those instances where you know the actor, but when that actor steps on stage you can't actually see anything of the person you know because the characterisation is THAT good. Well done to all involved!! You're in for a treat here, y'all!
